Looking for a local family Easter activity this weekend? Hop on over to Paul Ecke Sports Park for some egg-cellent entertainment.
The city of Encinitas Parks and Recreation Department is holding their annual Easter Egg Hunt Festival on Saturday. Families can stop by for all sorts of fun. There will be cafts, face painting, games and inflatable jump houses for the kiddos and of course, an egg hunt with 23,000 bio-degradable plastic eggs filled with goodies.
This event will also feature class instructors for this summer’s camps that the Recreation Department offers. Meet with the instructors and find out what kind of fun will ensure this summer.
There will be various egg hunt times at the park according to age:
- 10:15 a.m. for 2 years and under
- 10:45 a.m. for 3 year-olds
- 11:15 a.m. for 4 and 5 year-olds,
- 11:45 a.m. for 6 and 7 year-olds
- 12:15 p.m. for 8 and 9 year-olds
